Nicaraguan government rejects US government's aggressive measures

The Government of Reconciliation and National Unity, true to its Historical Commitment to promote the advancement of Peace and Security, in the Fight against Poverty and to guarantee the Rights of all Nicaraguans, reaffirms to all Nicaraguan Families, and to the World:

1. We firmly reject the Declaration and Resolution that in the form of an Executive Order was issued today by the Government of the United States.

2. We categorically reject the historical continuation of Interference and Interventionist Policies of the North American Imperial Power, against Nicaragua.

3. In the name of our Patriotic Legacy, the Heroic Heritage and of the Victorious Nationalist Struggles of our Soldier An-drés Castro, of General Benjamín Zeledón, of Sandino, General of Free Men and Women, of Carlos Fonseca and of the Sandinista National Liberation Front, we demand with Dignity and Nicaraguan Pride, the inalienable Right to our Sovereignty and In-dependence.

4. In the name of the indomitable Spirit of all the Heroes and Martyrs who throughout history have given their lives for a free Nicaragua, united, prosperous, filled with Faith and Hope, we proclaim that we are an undefeated Race, that we neither sellout or surrender, and that we demand a Free Homeland, with our Flags and Heart held high.

5. Filled with Patriotic Love, Courageous and Fraternal Coexistence, we declare inadmissible, inconsequential, disrespectful, false and illegitimate all the accusations presented to sustain the perspectives and imperialist practices of the United States of America, and the servile and abject condition of homegrown traitors.

6. As our immortal Darío said, the United States may have everything, but it lacks one thing: God!

7. Who are the traitors of the Homeland?
Sandino said:

"1. Every Nicaraguan who with political intentions will traffic with the honor of the nation ..."

8. Homeland and Freedom, Sandino said ... Sovereign, Dignified, Independent Homeland. Proud Homeland with a Valiant Spirit. Homeland to be loved, defended, and for her Lights to shine without the roaring of the "voice of the cannon".

Homeland, in Faith and Hope!
Nicaragua will always be Free,
because it has children who love her ...!
Long Live Sandino!
Long live the Sandinista National Liberation Front!
Long Live our Free Homeland!
